Tactical Threads is a new workwear range from Regatta Professional. This is workwear built with style. Tactical Threads clothing is tested to the limits. Waterproofs come guaranteed as standard. Garments are washed, flexed 9000 times, zipped and unzipped. Their quality manufacturing is British BS, European EN and International ISO standard assured. Regatta work hard at making their clothes work harder.
Garment Printing works closely with Regatta Professional because of their ethical approach on clothing fabrics. For example, their products are made without using any PFCs. Tactical Threads are committed to finding alternatives to using PFC chemicals and are working towards a reduction by 2020. They use ID-Reflection so you can ensure you’re seen from all angles. Their angled chevrons allow people to know if you’re facing towards or away from them at a glance, increasing safety in low light.
Furthermore, they have been tested with EN ISO 20471 – this is an international standard that outlines the requirements for high-visibility workwear for employees in high risk areas. It is divided into 3 classes to ensure the most fluro-material and reflectors are used when working. On top of that, they are certified with the EN 14404 – the European standard that sets requirements for knee pads to best protect the user’s knees. They ensure the user is comfortable while kneeling for long periods and are able to absorb impact and stop sharp objects penetrating the garments!
Tactical Threads by Regatta are highly practical and reliable products to customise. They are made of Isotex Stretch fabrics which are waterproof, breathable and windproof. The hydrophilic breathable system allows inner moisture vapour to escape. They are designed to keep you dry and comfortable outdoors whilst the active fit stretch yarns give greater comfort and movement. Regatta’s pinnacle stretch fabric technology is ideal for high energy outdoor activities, with a quick drying finish to minimise rain impact and provide protection from windchill.
Tactical Threats Professional Clothing
In terms of what printing to go for with the different Regatta Tactical Thread workwear products, we find embroidery is perfect for hardwearing products that will be washed frequently. The majority of the products can be embroidered but the best results are achieved when using thicker stitching on more durable fabrics such as fleece. For example the Tactical hi-vis power fleece features an adjustable shock cord hem, giving you a personalised fit! It comes with ID reflective technology, providing your team enhanced visibility!
Ideal for large quantities of product to give a clean crisp finish to the image or logo, screen printing is perfect for branding your business logo on the Tactical Thread range by Regatta. Most jackets and softshell products are suitable for screen printing but we do not recommend using this method on fleece or products which can be damaged by high heat!
